I haven't posted in here for a while.

But I'm going to update it on a regular basis now. I'm taking two classes that are going to require a lot of work, so you'll hear from me quite often.

Canon Digital Rebel
28-70mm f/3.5-4.5
On Tripod
420ex Speedlite, Not on camera.

ISO: 100
Aperature: f/3.5
Shutter Speed: 30"

I set the camera on the tripod, and framed everything how I wanted. When I hit the shutter, Evan and myself took off running. When we got to the first spot, he sat down, I ran behind him, and I fired my flash. We got up, and ran to the other set of tracks, squatted/sat, fired again. Each time progressively getting closer to the camera. The flash was verticle, and aimed at his head from about shoulder height. We originally tried some with him standing, but with his head and arms being as skinny as they are, caused the light to wrap around his face and you could make out too much detail.

Photo was shot in raw, and then converted to jpeg. In raw I slightly adjusted the color temperature from about 3200 to 2800. I left the tint where it was, and took Auto off of all the other options. I left the saturation alone, and slightly bumped up the contrast a bit. I cropped it against what it was, just to level out the horizon. It's still not perfect, but I'm definately satisfied with it.

Soon:
I'm going to be shooting another suspension, and when I have the time, I'm going to head to the darkroom and print some photos from Dave Mesa and his friends suspension. I'm yet to even look at those since I developed them almost a month ago. Also, I'm going to have to make some studio time to photograph my next assignment. It's a hotlight series. I'll probably try the saran wrap thing again for the model aspect, and for the object, dead mice. I'm going to have a lot of fun with the dead mice. I'm going to have them in piles, in bottles, glasses, on plates, all sorts of fun things.
